Otis is the father of two phenomenal daughters: Shekinah and Aliyah.

1. What do you like most about being a Girl Dad?

I have enjoyed everything about being a dad to daughters. Just watching them grow and mature into young ladies has been amazing.

2. What do you wish you would have been told when you were younger that no one told you or you had to learn the hard way?

In raising daughters, I had to learn how to be a little more sensitive to them and their feelings.

3. What is one thing, if any, that scared you about having a daughter?

I actually haven’t been scared of anything about having a daughter.

4. What life lesson do you have for other girls/young women?

You have to have the most utmost respect, and love for yourself. As young Queens growing into adulthood never settle for less of anything. Women are one of God’s greatest blessings and that’s how you should be treated. You’re beautiful, important and worthy of the best.
